Our Mission

To provide theater productions for children and students that honor the Lord through content, quality, and creative expression.

Our Vision

We want to create a safe space for young people to use their gifts. We will strive to expect excellence on the stage, and strong character and ethics off stage that reflect our Christian values. Through appropriate content, modest costumes, and a culture of encouragement, we will help young thespians grow in their craft as well as partnering with parents and the church to grow their relationship with Christ.

The Team

Sara Johnson, Owner and Director

Sara Johnson is an Assistant Principal and former music teacher in Pearland ISD. She graduated from Wayland Baptist University with a Bachelor of Arts in vocal music and also holds a Master's in Educational Leadership. She is passionate about sharing her love of music and theater with students and helping them become their best.

Danni Hughes, Artistic Director

Danni has a Bachelor's in Nursing and a performance theater background. She loves getting to support PWP and create a theatre environment where kids can use their gifts to glorify God.

Nicholas Porter, Artistic & Technical Director

Nicholas Porter serves as the Director of Business Development for Medical Behavioral Hospital of Clear Lake. He attended the University of Texas at Austin’s B.A. Theatre and Dance program, where he developed a lifelong passion for the performing arts. Nicholas is honored to share his love of theatre and dance with the next generation of performers and is grateful to help students grow both on and off the stage.

Parkway Players of Pearland is run by a Board of Directors made up of Pearland residents who have a passion for quality Children's Theater.
